Innovations can be the main engine for companies to grow, thrive, and sustain a high cost-effectiveness. Companies have remarkable assets attached to their innovations but it is not always clear on how to utilize their Intellectual Property Rights. This changes the question for companies from “How to innovate?” into “How to manage innovation in the best possible way?”. The term Open Innovation (OI) has become a major buzzword in today’s corporate world. The whole hype around it brings a viable message: in order for an innovation to be successful, it must be conducted internally within an organization, as well as externally with various other actors. Origins of external involvement are numerous. External parties can be market actors such as customers, suppliers, competitors but also external R&D institutions, university labs and public funding agencies. The use of different Intermediaries such as technology consultants and knowledge brokers is also an increasingly popular way to ensure that innovations are being utilized to their full extent. The main idea behind Open Innovation is to combine all these parties in a flexible way in order to enhance the exploitation of Innovation. However, many companies collide with various administrative and managerial challenges when effectively implementing such transitions and new ecosystems.
In order to confront these challenges, many companies refer to innovation intermediaries. Munich Innovation Group helps organizations face the challenges related to innovation utilization by introducing a structured monetization process that enables customers to fully exploit their Intellectual Property Rights and turn them into strategic assets.

Redtail Butterflyfish, Similan Islands, Thailand
A Similan Islands photo collection wouldn’t be the same without the Redtail Butterflyfish, they are everywhere. This photogenic fish can grow to a length of 18 cm. There is a strong white stripe behind the eyes and a black stripe over the eyes. This fish gets its name from the bright red colour at the base of the tail.
Back to present some eyecandy in the true meaning.
Infected by Lowriders lately it is so much fun to see
all your candy colors getting terminated by these rides.
The focus this time wasn´t working function,
but to get the look of the chrome work, wheels, chassis
and overall look right matching the theme.
This is a common view you get at least two times on a similan liveaboard trip - surfacing after a sunset dive. One of the best pictures to describe the quality of liveaboard diving, i’ve done last season and i can’t wait to get out on a liveaboard again to checkout what wildlife there can be found in the stunning scenery formed by the geology of the similan islands.
